Launching to success
Indecision can be the issue with many of us, for fear of it being the wrong decision, or wondering if there is something better to do instead?
Usually, doing nothing is less of a favourable option than making a decision, sticking to it and accepting the consequences.
Getting ready
to go is half the battle and that can be made easier by truly
searching where you want to go?
If you don't know where you are going all roads can take you there!
One thing is for sure that wanting to make changes and waiting for them to happen, rather than taking action and getting going, is unlikely to see your plans come to fruition. That said time in quiet contemplation is vital so that I am not racing about like a lunatic!
I often have a great deal to do in a day and today is a perfect example. The family have all left after Christmas, the house has wrapping paper in a bag still awaiting recycling. I have yet to wash all the bed linen, cook some meals and it is raining. I could sit about and do nothing, a highly tempting option, instead I wrote a list of what I am going to do today.
Having only written the list two hours ago, I actually only have two things left to do on the list. Had I not written the list would I have actually got on and done the things I had to do? Once they were on a piece of paper, I got going with ticking things off the list. Having done them, I have time to enjoy watching a movie- well it is raining today!
At the start of the year I also wrote a list of 'goals' that I wanted to see this year. It was not a long list but writing them down, and discussing them with someone, certainly helps with success rates. Goals are best reviewed monthly or quarterly and I have short, medium and long-term goals.
What are your goals this year?
Rather than putting things off, jot down, on a piece of
paper, what you want to do and start the journey to achieving your
goals.

"Nice post. I agree with you completely Joanna! I get so much more done when I jot down what I want to accomplish. Then I can check off things as I get them done. I'm 75% done with today's list. Tara. BiofriendlyBlog"
