Best of February posts – things I like
I had a great February;
sunshine, good food, skiing, book nearing completion but I am working quite long hours so I missed a few good blog posts.
Here’s a round up of some you might like:
A spot of wholesome cooking?
Chicken Liver Pate from Nourished Kitchen. I love making chicken liver pate, lots of garlic – happy days.
A real popcorn recipe from The Kitchen Rag. It is highly likely to taste nothing like it does in the cinema it may be far yummier!
I make Shepherd’s Pie quite a bit, it is easy to do and left-overs are a treat. I also have frozen one for up to a month for a dinner when I have been busy working on my book.
Oatmeal on cold winter mornings is a joy – here’s a recipe for soaked oatmeal from Oh Lardy!
And now for something sweet and treat-like discussed by Real Food Suomi Triple Coconut Cookies that are grain-free. The recipe is from Nourished Kitchen’s new Grain-Free baking book.
Decluttering?
Spring (it will come, honest), is a good time to start Spring cleaning and with that comes de-cluttering, or is that just in our house?
Don’t let the overwhelm of clutter prevent you from succeeding. Here are a few de-cluttering tips from Nourishing Minimalism.
Whilst you are about it, why not de-clutter your cosmetics too!

As you know I am a fan of ‘edible skin care’ this is a simple body oil recipe, from Whole Green Love blog.
Caveat:
I have linked to some blog posts above, that I have read the specific posts and feel the content could be beneficial. However a link to a blog does not mean I endorse, or agree with, all the blogs content – far from it. Do your own research, as I do – the library is a good place to start.
